This project had been crafted by the eminent Kaavalam Narayana Panicker, who penned the screenplay. Unfortunately, unforeseen challenges, including scheduling conflicts with Mohanlal and health issues faced by both Kaavalam Narayana Panicker and Raveendranathan Nair, the owner of General Pictures, led to delays and ultimately the suspension of the project.

The production house, however, expressed its commitment to reviving the endeavor with Mohanlal and even exploring potential government subsidies to aid its resurgence. The baseless rumors circulating on social media indicated that Mohanlal would be participating in a children’s film helmed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan under the banner of General Pictures.
