Puli Murugan, from the date of the announcement of the film, it had become the most anticipated film in Malayalam cinema and the hype around the film is rising day by day. The hype is because of the news that it will be one of the biggest film in Mohanlal’s career and also due to the news that it will have the biggest release ever witnessed by Malayalam cinema. As usual the name Mohanlal is enough to create unmatchable hype in Mollywood and that is happening here as well.

Another reason for the film is in news is because of the secret way of the team of the film. The film is being shot in utmost secrecy and with tight security. No one has permission to enter shooting premises other than cast and crew members and still no picture from the shooting spot is out in social Media. The changing of the expected time of its release is due to the extended schedule of the film due to bad weather. The flick had almost 120 days of shoot and now around 70 days shoot is completed. Still more than 50-60 days are required for the shoot and post production also needs much time as it had importance for VFX. So most probably the film will come only next year Vishu season or may be in the month of March. Some reports indicating that if things go smoothly it may come in Januray as well. But one this damn sure that Mohanlal fans have to wait till next year to see their super star in the Puli Murugan avatar.

The flick is directing by Hit maker Vysakh and financed by Tomichan Mulakupadam under his own banner of Mulakupadam films. The flick had a great star cast as well and most of them are not revealed as well.
