Mollywood is growing big as gigantic releases are on its way !

Malayalam cinema is definitely growing. Mollywood films are always considered as the best when it comes to the quality of the films made here and that too using low budget when it compared to Bollywood or other south Indian language films. Mollywood is considered the best when it comes to acting excellence of actors as well. Actors like Mammootty and Mohanlal are considered as the best in India and their popularity is growing all around India as well as all around the globe now. But what Mollywood really lacked was the business area.

When it comes to the commercial scheme of things, Malayalam cinema lacks a big marketing area and that always stopping many biggies to invest big money here. But for the last few years Mollywood is growing in that respect too and the coming months will witness some gigantic releases from Mollywood.

Mohanlal, one of the biggest star here in Malayalam film industry is all set to come with a film that can take Malayalam cinema to heights in terms of its market. Mohanlal is always the one who gives Malayalam cinema the platform to achieve bigger heights when it comes to its commercial scheme of things. His films are the ones which introduced, first 5 crore, 10 crore, 20 crore, and even the 50 crore club in Malayalam box office history. His film Drishyam had made Malayalam cinema popular even in North India and in overseas as well it had things easy for the later releases here.

Now, as per reports, his next film Puli Murugan is all set to release in 3000 screens worldwide and that will be something very huge, not only to Malayalam cinema, but also to South Indian film industry as a whole. This Vysakh directorial film is trying get as much screens as possible and it will have release in China and Vietnam too. Jayaram Starrer Aadu Puliyattam also coming in the near future with a big release. It is planning to release in 600 theaters all over India. The film is distributed by Mammooty as well.

Anyway we can hope that these will encourage the growth of Malayalam cinema’s market all over and our industry too become one like Bollywood or Kollywood. If we does it, then we can say that Mollywood is the best film industry in India in terms of quality as well as quantity.
