Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol released in Singapore

Mohanlal’s latest release Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, is continuing it’s glorious run in all the centres. The movie has just released in Singapore.

Mohanlal recently wrote on his official Facebook page, “Thank you Singapore for the Welcome, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol released at Singapore.”

Recently, the movie had a wide release in the overseas centres. The historic success of Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan has inspired the distributors to release the movie in more number of screens.

All India collections of the movie has already crossed the 30 crore mark in just it’s 21 days of theatrical run. Going by the collection reports from trade sources, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol will most probably cross the 50 crore mark.

The movie, released on January 20 has already completed 10,000 shows in Kerala. It is also the second fastest Malayalam movie to complete 5000 shows after Pulimurugan.

Even after the release of biggies like Siddique’s Fukri, Suriya’s Singam 3 and Prithviraj’s Ezra, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has stood rock solid. Theatres are running with packed audience for most weekend shows.

Vellimoonga fame Jibu Jacob has directed this family entertainer. M Sindhuraj has written the screenplay for the movie based on James VJ’s popular short story Pranayopanishath. The story revolves a middle aged couple who rediscover their lost love from the boredom of their routine life.

Mohanlal and Meena have played the lead roles in the movie. Jacobinte Swargarajyam fame Aima Rose Sebastian and Sanoop Santhosh have played their kids parts. Anoop Menon, Srinda Arhaan, Alencier Ley, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Rahul Madhav, Neha Saxena and Kalabhavan Shajon are also part of the cast.

Sophia Paul has funded the movie under the banner Weekend Blockbusters.
