Naane Varuven: Dhanush’s next with Selvaraghavan begins

As reported earlier, Dhanush is teaming up with his brother Selvaraghavan for a new film titled as ‘Naane Varuven’. Its shoot got commenced recently. The makers have released a couple of new posters featuring Dhanush with a gun and a cowboy hat.

Dhanush and Selvaraghavan have collaborated for some memorable hits before. Their last film together was ‘Mayakkam Enna’, which got released 10 years back in 2011. Expectations are high for their comeback film ‘Naane Varuven’. After this, the brothers will be teaming up for the ambitious ‘Aayirathil Oruvan 2’, which is planned as a 2024 release.

‘Naane Varuven’ has Induja as the female lead. Cinematographer Arvind Krishna and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja are already confirmed in the team. Kalaippuli S Thanu’s V Creations is producing the film.

Dhanush has multiple other projects in the pipeline. He has the Aanand L Rai directorial ‘Atrangi Re’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, lined up for release. He recently completed the shoot of ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ directed by Mithran Jawahar. The ‘Karnan’ actor has also signed films with Mari Selvaraj and ‘Love Story’ director Sekhar Kammula
