Naradhan: Tovino Thomas and Anna Ben in Aashiq Abu’s next

Aashiq Abu has announced that his next film will have Tovino Thomas and Anna Ben in the leads. Titled as ‘Naradhan’, it is scripted by Unni R. The film’s title poster has been shared by the director in his official social media handle. Santhosh T Kuruvila, Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal are jointly producing the film.

‘Naradhan’ will have cinematography by Jaffer Zadique. Saiju Sreedharan, a frequent collaborator with Aashiq Abu, is the editor and music department will be handled by ‘Da Thadiya’ actor Sekhar Menon. Art director Gokul Das, costume designer Mashar Hamza and make up artist Ronex Xavier are also part of the technical team. The film is planned as an April 2021 release.

Aashiq Abu meanwhile has also committed for a few other projects. He was supposed to direct a fantasy film starring Soubin Shahir and Rima Kallingal but the project seems to have been delayed due to the pandemic. The much-talked about Vaariyamkunnan Haji biopic with Prithviraj is also in the pipeline.

Aashiq is also turning a DOP for a new film titled ‘Haagar’. Harshad, the scriptwriter of ‘Unda’, is making his directorial debut with this film. Rima and Sharafudheen will be seen in the lead roles. Aashiq is also one of the producers of Sanu John Varughese’s directorial debut starring Parvathy and Biju Menon.
