Nawazuddin Siddiqui in talks to play villain opposite Rajinikanth!

It is already known that Rajinikanth’s next film after Kaala is with the extremely talented Karthik Subbaraj. Sun Pictures is producing this high profile project. Ever since its announcement, there have been a lot of speculations about the cast. Vijay Sethupathi was said to be considered for the villain’s role but there were no further talks on that.

Latest buzz is that Karthik Subbaraj is planning to get Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, to play the villain opposite Rajinikanth. Reportedly, Karthik who was in Mumbai recently for the promotions of his upcoming silent film ‘Mercury’, had met Nawazzudin and narrated the script to him. The director had earlier expressed his wish to work with him in a Twitter interaction after the release of Raman Raghav 2.O.

It will be really huge if Nawazzudin hops on board as the audience will get to see two powerhouse of talents locking horns. An official word regarding the same is expected to be made in the coming weeks. Interestingly, the antagonists in Rajinikanth’s last two films – 2.O and Kaala – are also from Bollywood. While Akshay Kumar plays an evil scientist in 2.O, veteran Nana Patekar will be seen as a cunning politician in Kaala.

So far only Anirudh has been confirmed to be part of this upcoming biggie. This is his first film with both Karthik and Rajinikanth, so the young composer will be trying to deliver his best possible work. Shoot for this yet-to-be titled movie will be commencing by June and the makers have planned to wrap it up this year itself.
