Nayanthara Chakravarthy to debut as a lead actress with Gentleman 2

Producer KT Kunjumon had earlier announced a sequel for his 1993-blockbuster film ‘Gentleman’. The second part titled ‘Gentleman 2’ is being planned on a big scale. Last day, the producer announced that Nayanthara Chakravarthy will be playing one of the female leads in the film.

Nayanthara is popular for her roles as a child actor in Malayalam films like ‘Kilukkam Kilukilukkam’, ‘Loudspeaker’, ‘Trivandrum Lodge’ etc. She made her Telugu debut in 2008 with ‘Kathanayakudu’, the remake of ‘Katha Parayumbol’.

‘Gentleman 2’ is said to be the continuation of the Shankar-Arjun film. However, details regarding its cast and crew members are not yet known. It is speculated that Arjun and Madhubala, the lead actors from the original, will be returning for the sequel. Some other popular actors are also said to be in talks for the film.

MM Keeravani, the music director of ‘Baahubali’ films and ‘RRR’, has already been signed as the composer. Stay tuned for more updates.
