Lady Superstar Nayanthara Stills
Nayanthara Drops ‘Lady Superstar’ Title, Requests to Be Called by Her Name
Following the footsteps of Kollywood stars Kamal Haasan and Ajith Kumar, who recently urged fans to refrain from using their respective prefixes ‘Ulaganayagan’ and ‘Thala,’ actress Nayanthara has made a similar request. In a heartfelt statement, she expressed gratitude for the love and recognition she has received over the years but requested that fans and the media address her simply as ‘Nayanthara’ instead of ‘Lady Superstar.’ She emphasized that her name is what she holds closest to her heart, representing her identity beyond just being an actor.
Nayanthara further spoke about her unbreakable bond with her fans, stating that love is the universal language that keeps everyone connected beyond boundaries. She acknowledged the unpredictability of the future but reassured her supporters that her dedication to cinema and entertaining audiences will remain constant. She concluded by urging everyone to continue celebrating cinema together, emphasizing the unity it brings.
On the professional front, Nayanthara has a packed slate of upcoming projects. She will be seen in Mookuthi Amman 2, Rakkayie, Mannangatti Since 1960, Test, and several other exciting films. With her decision to drop the ‘Lady Superstar’ title, Nayanthara aims to focus on her journey as an artist while continuing to captivate audiences with her powerful performances.
