Nayanthara’s birthday celebrated on the sets of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal

Nayanthara’s birthday was celebrating today in a grand manner on the sets of her upcoming film ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’. The actress’ boyfriend Vignesh Shivan is directing the film. The celebrations, which included cake cutting, was attended by the film’s two other lead actors, Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi.

‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ is touted to be a romantic entertainer with a triangular love story at its core. Vijay Sethupathi plays a character named Ranjankudi Anbarasu Murugesa Boopathy Ohoondhiran aka Rambo. The film has Samantha as Kathija and Nayanthara as Kanmani.

Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music and Vijay Karthik Kannan of ‘Doctor’ fame cranks the camera. The film is produced by 7 Screen Studios and Rowdy Pictures.

Meanwhile, as a birthday special, it has been announced that Nayanthara would be teaming up with director Ashwin Saravanan for a new film titled ‘Connect’. It marks the actor-director duo’s reunion six years after ‘Maya’. Similar to their previous film, ‘Connect’ also looks like a horror thriller. The film also stars Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher, Sathyaraj and child actor Haniya Nafisa.
