Nayattu enters second successful week of theatrical run

‘Nayattu’ has successfully entered its second week of theatrical run. It is getting largely positive reviews with most rating it as a hard-hitting and thought-provoking work. Directed by Martin Prakkat, ‘Nayattu’ presents a disturbing picture of how dalits are exploited and cops get victimized in a corrupt system.

Shahi Kabir, who made his screenwriting debut with ‘Joseph’, has penned this film. The fact that he was a policeman in real life comes in handy in this film, which is centred around three cops who are on a run. Kunchacko Boban, Nimisha Sajayan and Joju George play the lead roles. The performances of all the three actors have been equally praised.

‘Nayattu’ has cinematography by Shyju Khalid, music composed by Vishnu Vijay and edits handled by Mahesh Narayanan and Rajesh Rajendran. Veteran filmmaker Ranjith and PM Sasidharan have jointly produced the film under the banners of Gold Coin Motion Picture Company and Martin Prakkat Films.
