Nayattu is brilliant; Take a bow Martin Prakkatt, pens Bejoy Nambiar

‘Nayattu’ continues to get excellent response all across. The film has been lauded by most critics as a hard-hitting and thought-provoking one. Even people from within the industry seem to have been highly impressed by the film. Bollywood-based director Bejoy Nambiar, best known among Malayali audience for helming the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer ‘Solo’, took to his social media handle to heap praise on ‘Nayattu’.

He has penned,

Director Martin Prakkat, who is returning to direction six long years after he made the blockbuster ‘Charlie’, has made a terrific comeback. ‘Nayattu’ is very unlike his earlier films that were flashy and highly entertaining. It is a disturbing tale that presents a disturbing picture of how cops are victimized in a corrupt system.

The performances of all the three lead actors — Kunchacko Boban, Nimisha Sajayan and Joju George, has been equally praised. Shahi Kabir of ‘Joseph’ fame has scripted the film and cinematography is by Shyju Khalid.
