Neha Saxena to make her Malayalam debut with Mammootty film Kasaba !

Neha Saxena, one of the popular actress from Kannada, is all set to make her Mollywood debut this year and it will be with none other than Super Star Mammootty. Neha Saxena will be seen playing a key role in upcoming Mammootty starrer flick named Kasaba, directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, the son of popular actor/writer/director Renji Panicker. Mammootty is playing the character of a circle inspector named Rajan Zakariah in this film. Neha Saxena’s recent films the Game and Dandu were super successes and she is hoping to continue it with Kasaba as well.

Neha Saxena said that she feels very blessed to share screen space with Mammootty and it is a perfect debut opportunity she had got here. She had earlier worked with him for a photoshoot for a magazine cover page. She said that Mammootty is a fantastic human being and a very professional artist as well. Now, a chance to act along with him in a film is a sort of dream come true for her. Neha had won great appreciation and Karnataka State award as well for her Tulu film named Rickshaw Driver in the year 2013 and she had acted in a short film named Kamala as well which is also got great reception.

Nithin Renji Panicker scripted this film as well. He had worked as an assistant director to popular film Maker Shaji Kailas and making Kasab as a complete action packed film. Artists like Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, Sambath etc also plays key role in this film. It is Vralakshmi’s debut film in Mollywood and Kasaba turning out to be the first Mollywood venture of many artists and technicians associated with it. As per reports the team of the film is planning it as a July release this year. The filiming is now going on at Bangalore. It had started off at Kolar Mines at Karnataka.

The look of Mammootty for this film is already got the attention of the fans and the character he is playing said to be a different kind of police officer with some eccentric mannerisms.
