Nerkonda Paarvai trailer to be released today

Thala Ajith’s next release is the much awaited ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’. The movie directed by H Vinoth is the remake of acclaimed Hindi film ‘Pink’. Boney Kapoor, husband of late actress Sridevi, is producing the movie, which is scheduled for release on August 10. The makers have now announced that the movie’s trailer will be out today (June 12) evening at 6 PM.

‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ has Ajith reprising Amitabh Bachchan’s role from the original. Shraddha Srinath is essaying the role done by Taapsee Pannu. The movie marks Vidya Balan’s debut in Tamil. She plays the role of Ajith’s wife in the movie. Kalki Koechlin is also making a guest appearance in a song. The cast also includes Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Rangaraj Pandey, Arjun Chidambaram, Adhik Ravichandran, Aswin Rao and Sujith Shankar.

Nirav Shah has cranked the camera and Yuvan Shankar Raja handles the music department. The movie has high expectations since Ajith is doing something different from the regular commercial potboilers after a very long gap. ‘Pink’ was a widely acclaimed film that even went on to win a National award. The Tamil version is also expected to do well.
