Netflix’s multi-starrer anthology Navarasa set for August release

Netflix is coming up with a star-studded Tamil anthology titled ‘Navarasa’. It is a 9-part anthology film with each segment based on the 9 human emotions or navarasas. It brings together some of the leading filmmakers, actors and technicians in Kollywood. As per reports, ‘Navarasa’ is expected to start streaming in August.

‘Navarasa’ has films helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthik Subbaraj, Karthick Naren, Vasanth, Ponram, Rathindran Prasad, Arvind Swami, Bejoy Nambiar and Halitha Shameem. The cast includes popular names like Suriya, Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Revathy, Prasanna, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menen, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Rajesh, Poorna, Rythvika, Gautham Karthik, Bobby Simha and Vikranth.

‘Navarsa’ is produced by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan. The profits earned from it will go to the FEFSI technicians who have been affected by the industry shutdown due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
