The new fit Mohanlal to join Odiyan’s final schedule from January first week!

Mohanlal’s fit new avatar that he achieved for his upcoming movie Odiyan is the latest talk of M-Town. The 57-year-superstar’s trim and young new look was unveiled recently with a teaser which took social medias by storm. Mohanlal has been under a strict diet regime for over 50 days to reduce his weight and it is reported that he has shed around 18 kgs for the movie. With the fit new look, Mohanlal is set to join the final schedule of Odiyan from January first week in Palakkad.

Odiyan scripted by Harikrishnan and directed by Shirkumar Menon is primarily about Odividya, a black magic practice. People who used to practice are called odiyans and Mohanlal plays odiyan Manikyan in the movie. He is said to be the last living odiyan in the world. The movie follows his life from childhood to his 60s. Hence the actor will be seen in multiple looks in the movie.

Mohanlal trimmed down his weight as he will be shooting for the younger part of Manikyan in this upcoming schedule. It is said to be a challenging one month of shoot and Mohanlal is all excited about it. In the recently released teaser, he had said that the real game starts now, heightening the expectation levels further. In a monumental career extending over four decades, this is the is the first time Mohanlal is taking such an effort and that itself speaks volumes about his hopes on the movie.

Odiyan also stars Manju Warrier, Kailas, Narain, Siddique, Sana Althaf and Inncoent in prominent roles. This big budget movie is funded by Mohanlal’s own production house Aashirvad Cinemas.
