A new marketing strategy for Puthan Panam teaser
The makers of Mammootty’s upcoming release Puthan Panam sprang a surprise by releasing the movie’s teaser without any sort of hype. While Mammootty fans were celebrating the success of The Great Father, Puthan Panam teaser came in like an icing on the cake.
Apparently, the makers have used a new marketing strategy to release the teaser. Usually, a teaser or a trailer is released via the movie’s official Facebook page or the star’s page. However, the makers of Puthan Panam chose to attempt a different but an effective method.
They sent the teaser to all major medias who released it in social medias as their own count thus reaching it a wider audience. And the results are there to be seen as the teaser has been trending virally in social media pages.
At a time when the fans and netizens are visibly obsessed with the trailer views and likes count, it is indeed a commendable attempt by the makers of Puthan Panam to try something new. Ultimately, it all comes down the popularising the movie to get a good theatrical run.
Puthan Panam has a positive hype surrounding it and it’s mainly due to the all time favourite, Mammootty- Ranjith combo. The movie will be a different take on the director’s National award winning movie Indian Rupee. It will discuss about the current financial situation and explore in detail about the black money circulation in the country.
The movie stars Ineya and Sheelu Abraham as the female leads. Kollywood cinematographer Om Prakash is welding the camera while Shaan Rahman has composed the songs in the movie.
Puthan Panam is produced by 3 Color Cinemas, a new production house jointly owned by Abraham Mathew, director Ranjith and actor Arun Narayanan.
