Nithya Menen joins Abhishek Bachchan in the second season of Breathe

Nithya Menen, one of the most talented female actors in the South, is known to cherry pick her roles. After carving a niche in the South, the pretty actress foraying into Bollywood with the multi-starrer ‘Mission Mangalyaan’, in which she will be playing a scientist’s role. The movie directed by Jagan Shakti also stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Tapsee Pannu, Sharman Joshi and Sonakshi Sinha.

Nithya has now bagged yet another biggie. She is all set to enter the web series world with the second season of Amazon Prime’s ‘Breathe’. She will be playing the lead in the series alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh. An excited Nithya revealed the big news with a tweet, which reads,

The first season of ‘Breathe’ starring R Madhavan and Amit Sadh was a big success. Shoot for the next installment is already halfway. Nithya is thrilled about being part of the project as she feels that there are no compromises in this medium. Down South, the actress also has some exciting projects in the pipeline. She has two Malayalam films coming up –TK Rajeev Kumar’s ‘Kolambi’ and a sports film with Kunchacko Boban. She has also signed for the Jayalalithaa biopic and another with director Mysskin.
