Nivin Pauly-Major Ravi movie go on floors by the end of this year

We had earlier told you about Major Ravi teaming up with young star Nivin Pauly next for a romantic entertainer. The news came in as a big surprise for everyone, as Major Ravi is generally associated with army based movies and action entertainers.

According to latest reports, the team is planning to start shooting by the end of this year. Popular cinematographer Jomon T John will be entering production through this big budget romantic entertainer. He is also cranking the camera while Gopi Sunder will handle the music department for this movie.

Major Ravi had earlier revealed that his movie with Nivin Pauly will be a love story based on true incidents. He had informed that the movie based on the basic theory that love always wins because you are ready to do anything for it.

This yet to be titled movie will have a huge star cast and will be made on a big budget. A newcomer will be playing the female lead and the team is currently on the lookout for a suitable girl.

Major Ravi’s last release 1971 Beyond Borders starring Mohanlal in the lead was a huge disappointment both critically and commercially. So the director will be looking forward to correct his mistakes and flesh out a better output.

Nivin Pauly meanwhile has finished his portions for debutante Althaf Salim’s Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela. He is currently shooting for Geetu Mohandas’s upcoming movie Moothon in Kozhikode. His next release will be Richie, his first straight Tamil movie. It is expected to hit screens by mid- June.
