Nivin Pauly puts on extra weight for Padavettu; Check out this new location still

For the last few months, Nivin Pauly had been working on ‘Padavettu’ directed by debutant Liju Krishna. Apparently, the star has put on a few kilos as his character in the film demanded it. A new location still released by the makers feature Nivin Pauly with a oversized paunch. He has attempted similar makeovers for films like ‘Action Hero Biju’, ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ and ‘Moothon’.

‘Padavettu’ is said to be a rustic entertainer set in Kannur. Director Liju Krishna, who has also penned the scripted, has assured that Nivin Pauly will be seen in a kind of role that he has not done before. It is said to be an extremely challenging role and the audience can expect to see a different side of the actor.

‘Padavettu’ is being produced by actor Sunny Wayne, marking his maiden feature film production. Aditi Balan, who shot to fame with ‘Aruvi’, is making her Malayalam debut with this film. Manju Warrier will also be seen in an important role. With such a stellar team, expectations are naturally high on the film.
