Nivin Pauly to shed some weight for his upcoming movie

Young actor Nivin Pauly is all set to lose some amount of weight to get ready for his upcoming film directed by Althaf. You all may already know Althaf, who had done a small role in Premam, as the plus two student who is the friend of the character named Mary played by Anupama Parameshwaran. Althaf is making his directorial debut through this film starring Nivin Pauly.

Nivin Pauly had sported 3 different looks in Premam and later doing the role of a police officer in Action Hero Biju, he had gained some weight as well. This upcoming Althaf movie will be a family entertainer with some romantic comedy in it as well. So Althaf wants Nivin Pauly to be slimmer than what he is now.

Nivin Pauly had acted in Jacobinte Swargarajyam this year and in that film he maintained the body shape he had in Action Hero Biju, as Vineeth Sreenivasan does not wanted any weight loss from Nivin Pauly for his character. It is a complete family entertainer and not a romantic comedy like stuff. But Althaf film has that elements and when they conducted a look test for actors for the film, they felt that Nivin Pauly had to shed some weight to look apt for the role.

Nivin Pauly says that he is not doing anything extra ordinary to lose weight. But he is doing proper exercise and also going with diet to control the weight. Nivin Pauly said that the scripting of the film is in its final stage and by the time it get completed, he will be ready for the role with an apt body weight. As per reports, many artists we saw in Premam will be there in this film too.

A New face has been selected to play the female lead in this movie and her name is Aishwarya Lakshmi. She is a model and selected to the film after the screen test they conducted for the heroine character. Nivin Pauly ’s next release will be Jacobinte Swargarajyam and it will reportedly hit the screens on April 8, as a vishu release.
