Nivin Pauly-Trisha movie Hey Jude starts rolling in Goa

Last week, we had reported about Hey Jude, an upcoming Nivin Pauly starrer directed by ace filmmaker Shyamaprasad. The movie marks the Malayalam debut of leading South Indian actress Trisha. Shoot for the movie was kick-started today in Goa with a customary Pooja ceremony.

Nivin Pauly, Trisha, Shyamaprasad and many others were present for the traditional launch event. As reported by us earlier, Hey Jude is a breezy musical romance set against the backdrop of Mangalore and Kochi. Veteran actors Mukesh, Prathap Pothen and Urvashi are also part of the cast.

Shyamaprasad is one of the most revered filmmakers in Mollywood. He has directed several critically and commercially acclaimed movies. He is known for sketching strong characters and Trisha had recently said that her role in Hey Jude is a very solid one with ample scope for performance. This is Nivin Pauly’s third film with the veteran filmmaker after English and Ivde.

Hey Jude is being produced by Anil Kumar under the banner of Ambalakkara Films. Girish Gangadharan, who won widespread appreciation for his work in Angamaly Diaries, is cranking the camera. The movie be shot across Mangalore and Kochi. It is expected to hit screens by the end of this year.
