Nivin Pauly’s ‘Prathichaya’ Gets Clean U Certificate; Bookings Open Ahead of March 26 Release

‘Prathichaya’, starring Nivin Pauly and directed by B. Unnikrishnan, has successfully completed its censor formalities, receiving a clean U certificate, making it suitable for audiences of all age groups.

With the certification now cleared, the makers have officially opened advance bookings for the film, which is slated to hit theatres on March 26, 2026. The early opening of bookings reflects the growing anticipation surrounding the political drama.

The film, written and directed by Unnikrishnan, is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies, in association with RD Illuminations LLP. Touted to be a gripping political narrative, ‘Prathichaya’ carries the tagline, “Between the ups and downs… destiny waits.”

Along with Nivin Pauly, the film features Sharaf U Dheen and Balachandra Menon in key roles, supported by a strong ensemble cast including, Sabitha Anand, Maniyanpilla Raju, Nishanth Sagar, Beethi Krishna, Ann Augustine, Harisree Ashokan, and Vishnu Agasthya.

On the technical side, cinematography is handled by Chandru Selvaraj, music is composed by Justin Varghese, and editing is by Manoj.

With a clean censor certificate and bookings now underway, ‘Prathichaya’ is gearing up for a strong theatrical opening later this week.
