Nostalgic Ride Begins Tomorrow: Moonwalk Set for Release Across Major Theatres All over Kerala
The wait is finally over for film enthusiasts eager to revisit the magic of the 80s as Moonwalk, the debut directorial venture of renowned ad filmmaker Vinod A.K., is all set to hit theatres across Kerala on May 30. Produced by Listin Stephen and Jasni Ahamad under the banner of Magic Frames and presented by Lijo Jose Pellisserry, the film promises a heartwarming journey filled with friendship, dreams, and the irreplaceable charm of the pre-digital era. With music composed by Prashant Pillai and a story deeply rooted in Thiruvananthapuram’s Kazhakkoottam, Moonwalk is not just a film but an emotion for those who lived through the 80s.
From the soothing melodies of “Wave Song” and “Oru Pre Degree Kaalam Kinakkalam” to the vibrant visuals capturing the essence of balloon pants and cassette culture, Moonwalk is a cinematic tribute to a generation that danced to Michael Jackson, even if they barely knew how. The film features a stellar technical team including Ansar Shah on camera, Deepu Joseph and Kiran Das in editing, and Sabu Mohan as the art director, all coming together to breathe life into this retro narrative.
Moonwalk will be released in key theatres across Kerala. With a growing buzz around its nostalgic theme and rooted storytelling, the film is expected to strike a chord with audiences of all ages, especially those with memories of growing up in simpler times. Don’t miss this walk down memory lane—Moonwalk arrives tomorrow!
