Official: Here’s the release date of Prithviraj’s Nine

Before starting works for his directorial debut ‘Lucifer’, Prithviraj had finished shooting for ‘Nine’, an ambitious sci-fi film, which also marks his maiden production venture. Jenuse Mohamed of ‘100 Days of Love’ fame is directing this movie. Prithviraj has announced that the movie is all set to hit screens on November 16. Along with sharing a new poster in his Facebook page, he has also written,

This winter..a father will fight the world and beyond for his son!
#9 Releasing on 16th November 2018!

This indicates that the movie has a father-son bonding. The newly released poster also features a young boy along with Prithviraj, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mamta Mohandas and Prakash Raj. While Mamta’s character is named Annie, Wamiqa is named Eva. Prithviraj is said to be playing the role of a scientist in 9, the story of which reportedly happens over nine days. Not much is known about the movie as the makers have kept all other details under wraps.

The movie, which is supposedly a big budget one, has a solid technical crew. Abhinandan Ramanujam, well known for his works in movies like ‘Amen’ and ‘Mosayile Kuthirameenukal’ has cranked the camera and edits are handled by Shameer Muhammed. Shaan Rahman is composing the songs while ‘Da Thadiya’ fame Sekhar Menon composes the original music score.

Prithviraj’s newly launched production house Prithviraj Productions is producing this movie jointly with Sony Pictures International Productions.
