Official: Sivakarthikeyan’s next is with Vignesh Shivn

Reports about Sivakarthikeyan teaming up with director Vignesh Shivn have been doing the rounds for a long time. The project has finally been announced officially. Leading banner Lyca Productions will be producing the movie. Young sensation Anirudh Ravichander has been signed as the composer. The movie has been scheduled to go on floors in July. Lyca Productions officially announced the project by tweeting,

Director Vignesh Shivn is noted for his films ‘Poda Podi’, ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ and ‘Thaana Serntha Koottam’. His new film with Sivakarthikeyan is expected to be a full-on fun entertainer just like his earlier films.

Sivakarthikeyan meanwhile has some other exciting films coming up. His next release will be ‘Mr Local’ directed by Rajesh. The movie also starring Nayanthara is slated for summer release. The actor is currently shooting for his sci-fi film directed by Ravi Kumar of ‘Indru Netru Naalai’ fame. He has also signed for new projects with directors PS Mithran and Pandiraj.
