Official: Suriya teams up with director Siva!

Putting an end to all speculations, it has now been officially announced that Suriya’s next will be helmed by director Siva. The formal announcement was made just a while back through production house, Studio Green’s official Twitter handle. Suriya 39 (working title) marks the star’s first time collaboration with director Siva, whose last four films were with Thala Ajith. Siva-Ajith combo’s most recent collaboration ‘Viswasam’ emerged as a huge blockbuster, so expectations will be high for Suriya 39.

Suriya is currently working on ‘Soorarai Pottru’ with director Sudha Kongara. Malayali actress Aparna Balamurali plyas the female lead. This highly ambitious film is backed by Academy award winner Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment and Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.

Suriya’s next release will be the much awaited political drama ‘NGK’, directed by Selvaraghavan. His action thriller film ‘Kaappaan’ is also gearing up for release in August. The KV Anand directorial also stars Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa and Boman Irani in major roles.
