Ondraga : Prithviraj in Gautham Menon’s multistarrer

Gautham Menon’s long-cherished dream of directing a movie with top stars from all four south Indian industries is finally happening. The movie is tentatively titled as Ondraga.

It will be a multilingual project in all 4 south Indian languages- Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Prithviraj Sukumaran has been roped in from Malayalam. Recently he opened about the project. He said, “I have been paid the advance and I’m already on board. The project requires lead actors from four southern industries. So it is difficult for getting the call sheet of all four actors on the same rime. Hence, it’s taking time to materialise.”

The director is reportedly in talks with Simbu from Tamil, Puneeth Rajkumar from Kannada and Sai Dharam Tej from Telugu. According to reports, the film revolves around the lives of four friends who meet at a wedding after many years and decide to take a fun trip. Like most Gautham Menon movies, most part of the movie will be shot in the US.

The director meanwhile is shuffling between two projects- Enai Nokki Payum Thotta with Dhanush and Dhruva Natchatiram with Vikram. Official teaser for the teaser for the latter was released recently to overwhelming response from the audience. Vikram is playing a RAW agent in this high octane spy thriller which will be made on an international scale.

Prithviraj is also having a packed schedule with almost 5-6 projects lined up. He recently returned back from Poland after finishing his portions for Roshni Dinaker’s My Story. He will be soon joining the last schedule of Tiyaan directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar. Some other projects in the pipeline are Pradeep M Nair’s Vimaanam, Jinu Abraham’s Adam, the magnum opus Karnan etc.

Prithviraj’s next release will be Ezra, scheduled to hit screens on February 10.
