Oppam : Devshi Khanduri to make her Malayalam debut with Mohanlal

Priyadarshan had started the filming of his new Malayalam movie named Oppam with his best friend and the finest actor in Indian cinema, Mr. Mohanlal. The flick had started off at Kochi on March 5 this year and the first schedule of the film is almost going to its last part there. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas and it will come as an Onam release of Mohanlal on September 8 this year, as per latest reports.

Another news related to this film is coming now, which says that, popular Bollywood actress Devshi Khanduri is making her Mollywood debut through this movie. She had shared some photos of her with Mohanlal, Priyadarshan from the set of Oppam via her official facebook page. The photos was taken during the song shoot of the film in which Mohanlal, Vimala Raman, Mamukkoya, Kanaran Harish etc also were part of.

She had made her debut in Bollywood through the movie named Charge sheet by Devanand. She is doing films like Khel Toh Ab Shuru Hoga and Shakal right now in Bollywood and she had also acted in Telugu films with Allu Arjun. She had written lyrics for songs in Hindi movies as well. Anyway she is very happy to make her Mollywood entry in a film directed by one of the best directors in Indian Cinema and also acting along with the Legendary Mohanlal, who is considered as the biggest star here in Mollywood and the finest actor Indian cinema has ever seen.

Devshi Khanduri had done a lot of advertisements too such as Bru, VIP Suit case, Godrej, Monte Carlo, Dabour etc. She is also active in many stage performance and entertainment shows. In the film Oppam, she plays a Punjabi bride as per reports and Arjun Nandakumar plays the bride groom. Mohanlal plays a blind character named Jaya Raman in this movie and the plot revolves around the incidents happens in his life and shows how his life gets affected by all those events. The film is making as a crime thriller.
