Oppam Hindi remake : Who will replace Mohanlal ?

Mohanlal movies always gets nationwide attention if it receives good opinion and no other actor in Mollywood have that reach in Indian cinema, which Mohanlal has. His films crosses all boundaries of language and gets appreciation from all around. We saw many examples like Manichithra Thazhu, Drishyam etc earlier. Drishyam had remade to 4 Indian languages. Now his latest movie Oppam is also going that way.

Oppam is moving to the list of all-time blockbusters in Mollywood and if things go like this way it can break the records set by Drishyam as well. Anyway, there is huge demand for the movie in remake market and reports coming in that the movie will speak Hindi soon. Oppam is getting ready for a Bollywood remake and the big question in everybody’s mind is that who will replace Mohanlal who played the blind character Jayaraman with utmost perfection.

Reports says that just like earlier Priyadarshan remakes, Oppam will also be remade to Bollywood with Akshay Kumar in the lead. Akshay Kumar reportedly watched the film and loved it. Priyadarshan had already announced that he will have a movie with Akshay Kumar in the near future and it may be Oppam remake.

But some other rumors says that Aamir Khan also shown his interest to remake Oppam. Priyadarshan always wanted to work with Aamir Khan and if everything goes well we can see Aamir Khan playing the character played by Mohanlal. The Tamil remake of the movie is also coming as Kamal Haasan shown his interest to remake it.
