Oppam to speak Tamil soon and Kamal Haasan to play the lead in it ?

Oppam, the movie from Mohanlal-Priyadarshan team which released all over Kerala in this Onam season is now moving to the list of the biggest blockbusters here in Kerala. The film had already collected more than 12 crore from is 7 day run here in Kerala as per reports and set the first week collection record surpassing Premam record of 10.3 crore in 7 days.

Fabulous reviews and great appreciation is been pouring from all around for the movie and it is raining houseful shows here in Kerala. Outside Kerala too, the film is making history by creating waves in box office. Now, an unconfirmed report is coming in that Oppam will be soon remade to Tamil and Ulaga Nayakan Kamal Haasan will play the lead in it.

Kamal Haasan had watched the movie last day and he loved it. He said that Mohanlal’s performance in it as blind Jayaraman was just stunning and he don’t have enough words to praise this actor. He also called up Priyadarshan and appreciated him for his great work in the movie as a writer and director. Reports says that Priyadarshan himself will do the Tamil remake of the film and it will be produced by Suresh Balaji.

Earlier Kamal Haasan had remade Mohanlal’s Drishyam as well in to Tamil with the title Papanasham and Suresh Balaji produced that flick as well. Jeethu Joseph had directed both the Malayalam and Tamil version of Drishyam.
