Oppam Telugu version Kanupapa release date confirmed

We had earlier reported that blockbuster movie Oppam will be dubbed in Telugu language. The movie titled as Kanupapa will hit the screens on December 30.

Oppam is currently the second highest grosser in Malayalam cinema. The movie directed by Priyadarshan pipped the record set by Drishyam.

Now top 3 movies in the highest grossers list in Mollywood belongs to Mohanlal. Pulimurugan stands at the top followed by Oppam and Drishyam.

Kanupapa will be Mohanlal’s second Telugu release in Decemeber after Manyam Puli, the dubbed version of Pulimurugan. Manyam Puli released on December 2nd opened to tremendous response in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana states.

According to Telugu media, Manyam Puli has collected around 5 crores from the first day itself.

With the release of Kanupapa, it will be Mohanlal’s fourth movie in Telugu after Manamantha, Janatha Garage and the recent Manyam Puli.

Oppam deals with the story of a blind lift operator who is on a run to protect a girl from a serial killer. Mohanlal’s subdued performance as the blind man with slick direction from Priyadarshan is the major highlights of the movie.

It is expected that the Tollywood audience would receive the movie beacuse of the content discussed.
