Oscars 2021: Here’s the full list of winners

The 93rd Academy Awards events was held in a strange fashion this year due to pandemic. The attendees had to observe social distancing but most of them chose to go maskless in this low-key event. Irrfan Khan, Chadwick Boseman, Bhanu Athaiya and others were honoured in the memorium segment.

The American drama ‘Nomadland’ won big this year. The film won the award for Best Picture, Best Actress for Frances McDormand and Best Director for Chloé Zhao.

Chloé Zhao made history as the first woman of colour to win the Best Director award. She is also the second woman ever to bag the prestigious award. Legendary actor Anthony Hopkins won Best Actor for his performance in ‘The Father’ over the late Chadwick Boseman. At the age of 83, Hopkins became the oldest-ever acting Oscar winner.
