Paamban: Check out Sarath Kumar’s reptilian avatar!

Tamil star Sarath Kumar is well known for his action movies. He is one of the earliest action stars in South Indian cinema. The 64-year-old actor is trying something daring with his new movie ‘Paamban’. He unveiled the first look posters of the movie through his social media handle today. To everyone’s surprise, Sarath Kumar is seen in a reptilian avatar in this poster.

Paamban will be directed by A Venkatesh, with whom Sarath has previously worked in Aei, Sandamarutham, Mahaprabhu and Chaanakya. The duo’s upcoming movie looks like a mythical film with a fantasy element.

Srikanth Deva is handling the music department. The team will begin recording the songs from today, Sarath Kumar informed on social media. He has tweeted,

Shooting begins soon for ‘Paamban’ produced by SSK Productions, directed by A Venkatesh and music by Srikanth Deva. Songs recording begins today.

Sarath Kumar is currently busy shooting for his Telugu film, ‘Bharath Ane Nenu’ starring Mahesh Babu and Kiara Advani in the lead. The veteran actor is reportedly playing the role of Mahesh Babu’s father in the movie. He is also playing a crucial role in the Allu Arjun starrer ‘Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India’, directed by Vakkantham Vamsi.
