Padayottam releasing in UAE and GCC today; Here’s the theatre list

Debutant director Rafeek Ibrahim’s ‘Padayottam’ starring Biju Menon in the lead continues to do extremely well in all the release centres in Kerala. The movie got released last Friday (September 14) and opened to great response from the common audience. Critics have rated its a complete fun entertainer that could be enjoyed by audience of all age groups.

After its good run in Kerala, Padayottam is reaching centres in UAE and GCC today. The movie is releasing in a good number of scenes in areas like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Alain, Sharjah, Fujairah, Oman, Baharain, Kuwait and Qatar. The word of mouth has largely been positive and hence is expected to take a good opening in the box office.

Padayottam marks a solid comeback for Biju Menon after a series of duds. Newcomers Arun AR and Ajai Rahul have scripted the movie as a travel-comedy revolving around an eventful journey from Trivandrum to Kasargod. Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup, Sudhi Koppa and Basil Joseph play the other major roles. It is a crackling chemistry between the lead actors and the continuous fun element in the script that makes Padayottam a thoroughly enjoyable ride.
