Pappa: Unni Mukundan’s next is a political thriller

Unni Mukundan’s new film ‘Pappa’ has just been announced through Facebook. Vishnu Mohan, who is currently directing the star in ‘Meppadiyaan’, will be helming this film as well. The makers have announced the film by releasing a motion poster. It features an intense looking Unni Mukundan clad in an all-white attire.

‘Pappa’, as per the makers, is a political action-thriller. It is the first time Unni is attempting this genre in his almost 10-year long career. Along with him, the film will have a big supporting cast, which the makers are currently finalizing. On the technical front, director Vishnu has retained the same core team from ‘Meppadiyan’. Neil D’Cunha will be wielding the camera and music will be scored by Rahul Subramanian. Shameer Muhammed has been assigned as the editor. Navaratri United Visions is producing the film.

Unni Mukundan, meanwhile is shooting for ‘Meppadiyan’, a film he has pinned high expectations on. He is turning a producer with this film, which is shaping up as a family entertainer.
