Parole will bring back the old Mammookka: Director Sharrath Sandith

Mammootty’s Parole was a less talked about movie till the first look poster was released a couple of days back. The megastar’s intense look and the flag bearing activists in the background have piqued the curiosity among the audience. Debutant director Sharrath Sandith says that Parole is a common man’s story with a political background for the lead character.

Mammootty is playing the role of Sakhavu Alex in the movie. Three different phases of his character will be shown in the movie. In a recent interview, the director said that, Mammootty has given such an intense performance that will remind us of his earlier days. He assured that, Parole will bring the good old Mammootty.

Parole, scripted by Ajith Poojappura is based on some real life incidents. It is a family drama in which Ineya and Miya George will also be seen in prominent roles. While Ineya plays Mammootty’s wife, Miya will be seen in his sister’s role. Telugu actor Prabhakar is also playing a significant part in Parole. He is popular for his role as the Kalakeya king in SS Rajamouli’s action epic drama Baahubali: The Beginning. Siddique, Krishna Kumar and Suraj Venjaramoodu are also part of the supporting cast.

Parole is being produced by Antony D’Cruz Entertainment. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be made soon.
