Parvathy busy with scripting and pre-production works of her directorial debut

During these lockdown days, Parvathy has been keeping herself busy with script and pre-production works of her maiden directorial venture. Apart from her own film, she is collaborating with a friend for another project. Parvathy herself revealed this in a recent interview with Firstpost. The actress also opened up about her mental health and how she has been battling depression.

Parvathy’s debut directorial was supposed to begin by the end of this year or early next year, but due to the Covid-19 scenario, things still remain uncertain. She had done lot of research and studies before finally deciding to wear the director’s hat. It is learnt that she has also opted out of three already committed films to concentrate more on her directorial venture.

As revealed by Parvathy earlier, she has zeroed in two subjects – one with a strong political background and the other one, a thriller that explores the psychological space between two people. Both the film demands immense research and Parvathy has been working on it for sometime now. An official announcement regarding the cast and crew is expected to be made soon.
