People from Calicut to honor Mohanlal on August 15th

Mollywood super star Mohanlal is undoubtedly the most loved actor herein Kerala and he is been ruling the industry for the past 36 years. People of Kerala consider him as their most loved brother and they call him “lalettan”.They never let go an opportunity to honor and show their love towards him. The people of Calicut also gearing up to show their ever increasing love for Mohanlal and they are all set to honor him with an event named Mohanam-2016, which will be organized at Swapna Nagari in Calicut on August 15th this year.

He had acted in more than 320 films in different languages and given life to numerous characters. This program will have 11 popular film makers who played important role in making him the biggest star here in Mollywood. They will share their experience of working with this legend.

Young Stars from Mollywood like Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj Sukumaran etc will also be present there in order to honor one of the finest actor in our country. There will be a music and comedy show associated with this event as well which will be presented there by Kottayam Nazeer and Suraj Venjarammoodu.

The revenue generated from this show will be used to support the artists in Kerala who needs financial help for survival. Surya TV will telecast this event on mini screen as well. Calicut district collector P Prashant is the leader of the organizing committee of this program.
