Pleasure of watching Mohanlal is indescribable, says Alphonse Puthren

Alphonse Puthren, the writer and director of the blockbuster success Premam was not in the news headlines for sometimes after his marriage last year. Now he again came to the lime light thanks to his association with the team of Oppam, the movie directed by Priyadarshan and starred by Mohanlal. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas and it will hit the screens all over in this Onam season.

Alphonse Puthren had joined this team by editing the trailer of the film. Alphonse Puthren was also the editor of his directorial ventures like Neram and Premam. Alphonse Puthren had said that he got the chance to watch Mohanlal’s performance without any edit and it was such a great experience for him that words are failing him when he want to describe it.

He said that it was a pleasure to share some days with Priyadarshan, who is one of the best directors in Indian Cinema. He thanked both Priyadarshan and Antony Perumbavoor for giving him the opportunity to edit the trailer of this film and making him a part of this Oppam team. He said that he saw the brilliance level of Mohanlal as an actor without any edit and it was something very special and the joy he got out of it was indescribable.

Oppam trailer will be released in theaters along with Kabali movie on July 22 and Alphonse Puthren said that it was a privilege to be a part of such a great team.
