Popular Malayalam actress Divya Unni got divorced

Popular Malayalam actress and classical dancer Divya Unni reportedly got divorced from her husband. She told it in a recent interview with Vanitha Magazine that she is been separated from her husband Sudhir Sekharan Menon and she wants to live for her children from now on.

She said that she went through the most painful days of her life. She never ever thought that this could happen in her life. She said that she even feels great pain while going away from friends and when that happens in married life, it is a terrible experience. She had said in a Media interview sometime before that she is going to end her American life soon and will come back to her acting career. But at that time she did not mentioned anything about her divorce.

She was married to Doctor Sudheer in the year 2002. Later she moved to America with her husband. They have 2 children named Arjun and Meenakshi. She quit from her acting career after marriage and later she did a Television show named American Jalakam for Asianet and also appeared in cameo role in the Malayalam movie named Musafir few years back.

She was busy with her dance programs there and she was the managing director of the Sreepadam School of Arts at Houston. She had made her debut here as a child artist and her first movie as a heroine was Kalyana Sougandhikam in which she played the female lead of Dileep.
