Prajesh Sen and Jayasurya reunite after Captain; First look poster of Vellam released!

After the success of ‘Captain’, director Prajesh Sen and Jayasurya are coming together for a new film titled ‘Vellam’. Shoot for the same commenced in November and its first look poster came out last day. Along with sharing the poster, Jayasurya wrote in his social media handle that it is the most challenging character that he has played in his entire career so far.

It must be remembered that the National award winning actor has done extremely some challenging roles in films like ‘Apothecary’, ‘Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam’ and ‘Captain’. ‘Vellam’ is certain to explore another dimension of his. Scripted by director Prajesh himself, it is said to be the story of a drunkard based in Kannur. In his Facebook post, Jayasurya has mentioned that we must all have seen a character like that in our daily lives.

‘Vellam’ has Samyuktha Menon as the female lead. Roby Varghese Raj is the cinematographer and Bijibal, the composer. Bijith Bala is the editor. Manu P Nair and John Kudiyanmala are producing the film under the banner of Friendly Productions LLP.
