Premam fame Anupama Parameswaran to play one of the female leads in Karthi’s next

Promising young actor Karthi is all set be team up with National award winner Pandiraj for an upcoming entertainer. The movie will be produced by his brother actor Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. As per latest reports, Premam fame Anupama Parameswaran has been approached to play one the female leads in the film.

Anupama is now a busy actress in Telugu industry with an handful of projects. This Karthi starrer will be his second film in Tamil after last year’s Kodi, in which she was paired opposite Dhanush. Priya Bhavani Shankar of Meeyadha Maan fame has been roped in to play the other female lead in Pandiraj’s film.

Anupama became hugely popular among the youngsters across the South after the success of her debut film Premam. Her looks and performance as the teen aged girl Mary George was noted and she soon bagged big projects in the Telugu industry. She currently has four Telugu films in her kitty – Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, Krishnarjuna Yudham, Vetagadu and another film with director A Karunakaran.

It will be interesting to see her on-screen chemistry with Karthi. With a big banner like Suriya’s 2D Entertainment backing the film, expectations are naturally on the higher side. D Imman has been brought on board to handle the music department.
