Prithviraj’s Ezra Malayalam movie release date confirmed

After a lot of postponing, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s highly anticipated horror thriller Ezra has finally got a release date. The movie will release on February 10, Friday. It was initially scheduled to release for the Christmas season but had to be postponed due to the cinema strike.

Ezra is written and directed by Mumbai based ad filmmaker Jay K, a former associate of Rajeev Ravi. The movie marks the debut of popular actress Priya Anand in Mollywood.

From the promo posters and teasers, it is certain that the Ezra is not the regular run of a mill horror story. The teaser and trailer showed glimpses of something unseen for a horror movie in Malayalam and raised the expectation levels of the audience.

The movie will have two time periods- one in the present and the other in 1930s, in the Jew Town in Mattanchery, Kochi. Sujith Vassudev has handled the camera while Rahul Raj has composed the songs.

Tovino Thomas, Vijayaraghavan, debutante Ann Sheeal, Sudev Nair, Babu Antony, Bharat Dabholkar and many other actors essay supporting characters in this movie.

Sathyan Anthikad- Dulquer Salmaan team’s Jomonte Suvisheshangal will release on January 19 followed by Mohanlal’s Munthirivallikalal Thalirkkumbol on January 20.
