Prithviraj’s Karnan will be releasing in 5000 theatres

Prithviraj’s Karnan is currently the talk of the town. After Pulimurugan, Karnan should be the most awaited project in Malayalam cinema history.

Ever since the announce there has been lot of speculations about the movie. Karnan is directed by R S Vimal who debuted with Ennu Ninte Moideen again starring Prithviraj in the lead. The success of his debut movie, has inspired R S Vimal to set out for a bigger venture.

R S Vimal had recently said that Karnan will be a multilingual made in 4 languages. This epic drama will have release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions. An English version is also planned. The makers are planning to rope in popular stars from other industries.

Karnan will be made on a massive budget of 300 crores. It is said to be one of the most expensive movies ever made in Indian cinema.

Pre production works are already underway in Hyderabad. Around 800 technicians have been working on animation and other woks. Sets for the movie will be erected with the help of pre visual animations.

Shooting will start by March 2017 and will last for over 8 months time. Most of the shooting will happen within the Ramoji Rao Film City.

Karnan will be releasing in 5000 theatres all over the world. The director had said that they are aiming for an international market, because the movie is an universally appealing one.

Karnan will be an epic movie in every sense. The movie has the potential to change the existing norms of Malayalam film industry.
