Prithviraj plays villain in Baby prequel Naam Shabana

Naam Shabana starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead is the prequel to Akshay Kumar’s blockbuster movie Baby released in 2015. Taapsee played a short but pivotal character in the movie.

It was earlier reported that Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing an important character in the movie but it was not revealed what his character was.

We have got exclusive information that Prithviraj is playing the antagonist in the movie. The actor has earlier played antagonist roles in the Kollywood movie Kana Kandaen and Telugu movie Police Police.

He has also played characters with grey shades in movies like Mumbai Police, Raavanan, Vargam, Krithyam etc.

The first look poster of the new movie was released recently which shows Taapsee in a de-glam look fearless and all focused. In the background, Akshay Kumar is seen in his Baby get up.

Taapsee Pannu made heads tun in Bollywood with her stunning performance in Pink opposite Amitabh Bachchan. Her character in the movie was widely appreciated.

According to sources, the actress has learnt mixed martial arts and a bit of Japanese martial art Aikido, apart from self-defence system Krav Maga for the movie.

Naam Shabana is directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey under his banner Friday Film Works.
