Prithviraj to reunite with Vysakh for Khalifa

Last day, on the occasion of Prithviraj’s birthday, it was announced that he would be teaming up with director Vysakh for a new film titled ‘Khalifa’. It marks the actor-director duo’s reunion after ‘Pokkiriraja’, which was also the filmmaker’s debut film. Jinu V Abraham is scripting ‘Khalifa’, which promises to be a revenge thriller. It is evident from the tagline, ‘Vengeance Will Be Written In Gold’. Jinu has previously written Prithviraj’s films like ‘Masters’, ‘London Bridge’ and the recent hit ‘Kaduva’.

Announcing ‘Khalifa’, director Vysakh wrote in his Facebook page,

Reuniting with Prithvi after twelve years with a High voltage Mass Entertainer. We dedicate our Khalifa to you who have been with us for so long with so much love. Many thanks to Jinu V Abraham who came along with a powerful script to make this dream come true.

‘Khalifa’ has Sathyan Sooryan as the DOP. He is popular for his work in Tamil films like ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Master’. Saregama is backing the film along with Jinu Abraham, Dolwin Kuriakose and Suraj Kumar.
