Prithviraj Sukumaran and Vipin Das to Team Up for ‘Santhosh Trophy’

Prithviraj Sukumaran and director Vipin Das are reuniting for a new film titled Santhosh Trophy. This marks their second collaboration following the film Guruvayoorambala Nadayil. Produced by Listin Stephen and Supriya Menon under the banners of Magic Frames and Prithviraj Productions, ‘Santhosh Trophy’ promises to be an exciting addition to the Mollywood slate.

Vipin Das, best known for his hit comedy Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, had initially announced a gangster comedy featuring Fahadh Faasil and SJ Suryah. However, due to the actors’ scheduling conflicts, Vipin has decided to proceed with ‘Santhosh Trophy’ first. Alongside Prithviraj, the film will feature a host of fresh faces, adding to the excitement surrounding the project.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj has a busy schedule ahead. He is currently directing L2: Empuraan, the much-anticipated sequel to Lucifer, which starred Mohanlal. On the acting front, he has several big projects in the pipeline, including Vilayath Buddha, Vysakh’s Khalifa, Khalid Rahman’s upcoming project, the second part of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, and the Hindi film Sarzameen. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Santhosh Trophy’, which is expected to go on floors soon.
