Prithviraj, Tovino and Arya in Pathinettam Padi

Actor-writer Shankar Ramakrishnan is making his directorial debut with ‘Pathinettam Padi’. The movie’s lead cast includes teenage actors from all 14 districts of the state. As reported by us earlier, Mammootty plays an extended cameo role in the movie. He plays a character named John Abraham Palackal and he sports a new look in the movie. Earlier this year, the actor had shot for a few portions and his remaining scenes will be shot next week.

The latest we hear is that ‘Pathinettam Padi’ will have some more star presence.Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and Arya will also be appearing in guest roles in the movie. Prithviraj and Tovino will joining the team on the first week of April.Arya’s portions have been planned to be shot in Manali. Details about their characters have not yet been revealed

‘Queen’ fame Saniya Iyappan, Ahaana Krishna, Biju Sopanam and Maala Parvathy are also playing supporting roles in the movie. It’s technical crew mostly comprises of youngsters.Cinematography is handled by Sudeep Elamon while music is by KH Kaashif. Bhuvan Sreenivas is the editor. August Cinema is producing the movie.
