Priyanka Arul Mohan to star in Sivakarthikeyan’s Don

Sivakarthikeyan is teaming up with debutant director Cibi Chakaravarthi for a youthful entertainer titled ‘Don’. From the announcement teaser, it looks like a college-based fun film. The star’s own banner Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Lyca Productions are jointly producing it.

‘Don’ will have Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead. The actress is popular for her impressive performance in the Telugu film ‘Gang Leader’. It must be noted that her debut Tamil film ‘Doctor’ is also with Sivakarthikeyan. She has also been signed for ‘Suriya 40’ directed by Pandiraj.

‘Don’ also stars SJ Suryah, Soori and Samuthirakani in important roles. Sivakarthikeyan’s frequent collaborator Anirudh Ravichander will be composing music for this film. Shoot is scheduled to begin this month itself.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan-Priyanka starrer ‘Doctor’ is gearing up to hit screens. Directed by ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ fame Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is reportedly based on organ trafficking that happens in different parts of the state. The makers are planning to release the film’s teaser on February 17, which happens to be the actor’s birthday. The film is slated to hit screens on March 26.
